The ‘Anasgebam’ is a traditional Ethiopian Pre-Wedding event that opens up the wedding festivities on a high note! The family and friends of the groom are expected to help him (playfully) ‘fight’ for his wife-to-be’s hand in marriage. Both Vince’s and Ribka’s guests are invited to attend. No prior experience is required, but a willingness to come with high energy and dance to traditional Ethiopian songs is asked of you!

Makoko RestaurantThis is an optional breakfast meetup for guests before everyone goes home. For guests that will be staying at the El Mangroove Hotel, breakfast is included in your hotel stay. For those not staying at El Mangroove Hotel, but that are interested in joining us for breakfast, the price will be $25 per person (taxes included) and they accept cash or credit card.
After breakfast, we’ll hang out at the beach at El Mangroove Hotel so stop on by for a casual hangout in the sun! There are many excursion vendors available should you be interested in exploring the beach! We’d love to say goodbye and extend our gratitude to you before our departure!
